Who can register at www.alexandersmile.com?
Only doctors who practice orthodontics and are followers of the Alexander Discipline can register at Alexandersmile.com. They can upload only patients who have been treated with the Alexander braces.
How can I register?
You have to choose Log In - Register at Alexander Smile in the menu, then read carefully Terms and Conditions; fill in all fields from the registration form, and click Register.
Shortly, you can expect a confirmation by the Administrator of Alexandersmile.com to the e-mail address you provided that you have registered successfully.
How to get a personal page at Alexandersmile.com?
Every registered doctor automatically receives a page at alexandersmile.com with his/her name. For example, Dr. Ivan Goryalov from Bulgaria receives a page with the following name: www.alexandersmile.com/dr_ivan_goryalov. Actually, dr_ivan_goryalov is the doctor`s user name, and our advice is when you register, to choose a user name, reflecting your real name and surname. You can reach this page by the buttons Countries and Orthodontists, and Latest Smiles. The doctor can enter this address on his/her business cards and brochures or create a link from his/her site to this page – to show his/her results. It is the doctor`s site, created on www.alexandersmile.com. It is quite helpful, especially for those practices, that do not have their own website.
What are the site Administrator`s approval criteria for uploading a patient profile?
The Administrator approves photos and information only if:
- the information is real and is about real, existing people;
- the real first name of the patient is given;
- the patient`s photo is professionally taken and best expresses the patient`s nature. The patient`s face has to be with natural make-up, discreet jewellery or accessories, which will not draw the focus from the smile;
- the photo of the patient`s smiling face has good quality – it is in focus, square in shape, with dimensions 600рх Х 600 рх;
- the photo with the patient`s bite Before and After the treatment (and in a few years after the treatment) is in focus, with dimensions 600рх Х 300 рх;
- there is a personal story, given by the patient, sharing his/her emotion;
- an excerpt of a few words or of a sentence is taken from the patient`s personal story, to be placed on the first page;
- patient`s case presentation that is uploaded (if there is such) is in PDF format and does not exceed 15МВ;
- the doctor, before uploading a photo of a patient, has to have a written consent by him/her that the patient`s photo and personal story may appear on www.alexandersmile.com.
